Windows Network Problems

    well i created a windows home network and when i try to access my main computer from my laptop (I'm trying to access some files/the printer.)It says you don't have sufficient privileges talk to your administrator what should or can i do?

    make sure you have file and printer sharing enabled, and that something like norton internet security isn't blocking access.

    Otherwise I can't hit it on the head.(I dislike windows networks, too hit and miss for my liking). do you have any connectivity at all? Is your internet connection shared properly? Are you using a router or hub?
