in South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, an american general brought bill gates forward to fix a problem with a machine running "damned windows 98"....shortly thereafter, the general puts a .45 slug through gates's head. now, wouldn't it have been beautiful if that really happened back in '98? or at least some time before Vista?
i once heard someone had a sick dream in which a demented Linux user stalked Bill G, hunted him to a Windoze conference & took care of his issues for him. Bill G was no more. Forever in the history books, it was recorded that David (a lowly Linux home user who had once been employed by Micro$oft) slew Goliath (in this case, a devilish marketer who cared little for the home user & had diabolical plans for world domination through DRM & the Zune). Let us hope that terrible vision does not come true.... *snicker*
