WinMX needs to randomize User names, delete Hotlist

    Per the Article below, Verizon Was ordered to give the Identity of a Net Subscriber sharing files

    Because of this, it appears that it would be best that WinMX generate Randomized names for its Users each time that a User connects....Better yet, that the User's name is randomized anew each few hours....The HotList shoul be delete altogether (it really is not that useful anyway).....Obviously, WinMX should not track or record these User names

    This way, it would be very difficult to bring a User to Court as in the above referenced article since the User has a new name every few hours....And the Internet Service Provider could not be readily located

    They don't track you by username, but by IP address. You can change your name as often as you like but they will still know it's you.
