I have a 6 year old HP laptop that has been upgraded to Win 10.
I want to donate it to the Motorcycle Club I belong to for the treasurer to use for doing the club books and other business on.
I have a oem install disc for Win 7 Pro.
I was thinking of using DBAN to wipe the drive and the installing Win 7.
My question is will this work?

You can always just put in a new disk. A .5T disk is only 20-30 bucks I always keep a large selection of blank disks of different capacities. I buy them in bulk when I locate a bargain. I would always forget some file that I will not even know I need until at least a year has gone by now I keep them all.
