Wireless Network

    Hi.I need some help here.
    I am connecting to a wireless network ( I don't know were is the source of this network), and they don't have a DHCP.
    also I have the MAC address of the access point.
    what I need to know is how can I know what is the subnet IP of this network so I can use this network.
    anyone can help??

    chances are the sub net is 255.255.255.0 unless they have more than 254 computers. Other than that you are going to have to talk with thier IT to get the information you need. When things are set up without DHCP it generaly means there are securities in place. You will need the IP format as well since you will have to set up as static. You would have to know what they are and password(s) involved to get in.
