Wireless Router???

    Hi everyone. I am looking for a wireless router so i can use my laptop anywhere in the house. just wondering what is a good router with good wireless signal strength? what specs and stuff should i look for in a wireless router? any help would be great, thanks

    Thats the same system I use too. I've had the laptop over 200 feet away from the router with no problems at all.

    I hated Linksys, just my opinion but, i had the 54-G stuff and it sucked. I couldn't get a signal 70 feet away from the router!

    Now my D-Link 624 changed that. I got signals all over the house :)

    *Edited by the star* just make sure you get a Wireless-G (802.11g) router and wireless 802.11g card no matter which company you use

    both are good companys to work with

    thanks for all the replies. i'll probably go with the linksys as people say it is easier to use.

    had 2 customers try dlink wireless, 1 could'n get 40ft from base & other not happy with download speed & both had laptops & tower computers. they replaced with wired routers instead & happy with that
