I have a question about my DVD Decrypter program. I remember that it use to only take about 8-10 min to burn an ISO to a DVD. Now it is taking about 30min-1hr to burn. Why is it taking so long to burn now? Should I move to another burning program?

If you have not made ANY changes at all to the method you choose to backup, then you need to look at the DMA/PIO settings on your burner. Here's a link by AD's Binkie7. Check out your settings and change if needed. Did this work for you?

    Cheers.

    EDIT: crap spelling

#I is the Control Panel. Follow I, II, III. Hard drives on Primary Channel and optical drives on Secondary Channel. Uninstall and reboot to kick drives back into DMA on. After Reboot check to make sure DMA is on. If DMA/PIO problems persist, check IDE cables, drives and mobo connectors.
