Would these be a good buy?

    You can't go wrong with either brand. Taiyo Yudens are by far the best around, and 39.99 isn't a bad price either. If Verbatims, which are good also, are your choice, I believe Best Buy had a sale on them last week. Keep an eye out and you may get lucky and find a 50-pack of Verbs for like 16 dollars or so, depending on where you live. Other than that, I would go with the TY online. Just my two cents worth.....

    What exactly is the type of media you want?

    Inkjet printable/Thermal/regular disc?

    Your newegg link is for thermals and the meritline is inkjet printable. Huge difference between those two and the price is too high on their dash format media.

    Also check out supermediastore.com and rima.com. You should be able to get those thermals for under 30 cents each.
