    use the search

read some info on the topic, then post questions

    anyways

    NO

you need to first download or purchse HDLOADER

BOOT THIS IN YOUR PS2 WITH THE HDD CONNECTED VIA NETWORK ADAPTER (NO, there is NO OTHER WAY to connect a hdd to the ps2)

(if you donwloaded and burned, youll obviosuly need soem kind of mod to boot it)

this program will then allow you to format the hdd into ps2 format

THEN you cna use HDLOADER to copy games to the hdd and play them from terh HDD

if it is a NON OFFICIAL SONY PS2 HDD, it will NOIT BE RECOGNISED BY THE PS2's browser

i.e. everytiem you want to play a game from teh hdd you will need to boot HDLOADER first

if you want to copy a backup onto the hdd, you can transfer them via the pc using soemthing like hd handiness

NOW GO RESEARCH NEXT TIME BEFORE YOU POST

these thigns have been answered already
