when i use nero to burn movies, i put them in to the dvd player the screen roles the pic and sound is good but my screen keeps rolling????
Are you downloading and converting these movies or are you burning backup copies of store bought DVDs? This may be a PAL vs NTSC problem. I'd need more info to be sure. For example, if you copied a movie in NTSC video format and tried playing it on a British DVD player(PAL video format) then you would get the problem you described. It could be lots of things. Post your last Nero burn log so we can take a look. If Nero 7... C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\NeroHistory.log If Nero 6... C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory.log If you do post your Nero 6 log, make sure to remove your serial number.
thanks i don't know how to do what your asking..i'm down loading the files off the net, when i go to recode and burn it says your project contains more pal than ntse do you want to change the settings to pal i've been clicking yes...
If your playback equipment (Your DVD player/television) uses the PAL format then that is fine. If they use NTSC then you need to use that when you convert your movie. To post your Nero Log: 1. Determine if you are using Nero 6 or Nero 7. 2. Copy the appropriate address from these two choices: If Nero 7... C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\NeroHistory.log If Nero 6... C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory.log 3. Open Windows Explorer. (Right click Start, lower left > Explore all users). 4. Paste the appropriate address into Windows Explorer's address bar. Can't see your Windows Explorer address bar? Click "View" > "Toolbars". Make sure "Address" has a checkmark beside it. Click it if you don't see one. 5. This will open your NeroHistory log. There may be several individual logs in it.. We just need the last one. Look at the date/time on it. If it's a Nero 6 log remove your Nero serial number. It starts with 1a23- or something similar. Copy and then paste the log into your next reply. You just need to make sure you are using the correct format. Do a Google search on PAL vs. NTSC to find out what these are. You should know this if you are burning mixed format movies.
