First let me say that I already searched alot of forums.
Alot of ppl seem to have this problem after installing a chip.
I also installed a chip and aligned it perfectly, so that's not the problem.
but the problems began after I flashed the bios with an evolution X bios with a CDrw.
if I turn my chip off then my xbox startsup normally, so it isn't also a hardware problem.

    Now I have 2 questions :
    1) can someone confirm that it's indeed a bad bios that I flashed in my chip?
    2) can I flash it again without a programmer or do I need to order one?

thanx in advance for any replies

I'm not sure if this is the problem but mine flashes red and green when I have'nt plugged the AV plug into the back and connected it to the T.V. When I insert a backed up game I have to restart the xbox for the game to play.

I solved my problem : I needed to reflash the chip with the X-ecuter bios.
    here's how I did it, without a programmer :

First let me say I had the luck that a friend of mine also ordered a chip and didn't installed it yet. So I put his chip in my Xbox, start it up, when the cromwell screen appeared I switched chips and then I put the bios cd-rw in the drive and it reflashed my chip with no problems :D
