    Hi

I bought an X-Port some time ago, used it a few times to transfer some Gran Turismo game saves, but haven't used it since

I've tried to hook it up today, and my PC recognises it but wants a driver obviously

Trouble is I dont have the CD anymore, no idea where its got to. Is it possible to use this equipment without the X-Port software?

    Thanks

    Nik

I know you don't want to hear it but you should really try AR MAX EVO instead.

I remember reading that the Sharkport drivers worked with the X-Port, you might see if you can find them and give them a try.

Nik, the only other program I can think of is Naplink.

    http://wire.napalm-x.com/

When you plug in your usb cable and windows asks for a driver use napDrvr. Then make a cd or put the Naplink.elf on your ps2 mc. After you have made the connection from the Naplink client on your pc side with your Naplink elf, point Naplink to the NPORT.ELF.

Use PS2 Save Builder to switch your saves from XPS to NPO.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks very much for the info

I now have it recognised, but it seems I need a boot disk for the PS2?

I've tried the Naplink software, burnt the ELF and NRX and CNF files to CD, but the PS2 won't boot from this CDR
