    Hey,

Having a weird problem with my V 0078fk drive. Its not flashed.

Right when i put my "backup" dvd in it made a serious grinding noise and then said "unplayable disc"

I opened the drive ip to find:

Bear with me this is hard to explain.

Right you know on an xbox 360 drive their is the sticker explaining what drive it is. Above that theirs like a cirle. Underneath that cirle there was a white cirle thing with a magnet thing on it loose and wobbling around. Could this be the problem? If so how do i refix it?

P.s just tightened the screws and when trying to play the dvd again it still grinds but works after a few secs of grinding.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Ok found the problem now a soloution. Its the magnets that hold the disc in place. The bit on the inside of the drive case is the problem its lost whatever made it a magnet. Any way of replacing it?

My only reason for thinking this will work is because the obvious grind marks were on the top of the disc. the bit touching the topo of the drive.

    Cna i just ask..

Is that bit moveable and wobbles around for you?
