Does anyone have any tips on taking a USB 2.0 Hard Drive and using it on the XBOX 360 for saved games or to download content to? For example... xbox live content or game content. I have seen on other websites a flash drive that says you can use it as a XBOX 360 hard drive. Is there some kind of cue file or driver or something that allows this flash drive to save game content? Can others be made to funtion with the XBOX 360?

You can't use a USB HD for game saves, game demos, roms, or anything of the sort.

The only thing it can be used for is media services. Music, Movies, TV, etc.

Only the Xbox HD (20gig/120gig) and memory cards can store game saves.

Yeah man anyone can just buy a hard drive. I want something dual purpose. Ultimately I would like to buy a large Hdd and interface it with my digital cable box so I can record movies and music as well as saved games and Xbox content. 2 in 1! If you can read a Xbox drive on your computer you should be able to do . You should be able to read a computer drive on your xbox. I can save media to a Xbox Hdd. Why cant I save games to a Xbox Hdd? Maybe we just haven`t invented the right cable or the right program Xbox Modders. Did anyone even look at the sandisk website for specs on these new drives or was the post just written off?
