xbox backup creator not working

    hi cld someone help me i have tried installin xbc for some time and keep getting runtime error '339' i have tried everything and i just done a fresh install of windows 7 as nothing i searched was working but this hasnt helped im just getting the same error :( i was using other software to rip my games for a while but now tht the new game formats out i cant do that no more plz HELP! i have gow and fifa i wld like to rip thanks

    reason why your getting that error is because you have to install the program first,,get it from xbins,what you are tring to start is a exe. only,,

    hi sorry my internet ran out :( i have downloaded from xbins and thr site and still the same problem i dont understand i can install it on me laptops no problem but my pc keeps giving me this run-time error'339' component 'mscomctlocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid is xbc the only software that will correctly rip these games for a while i just used Schtrom360Xtract to rip games when this started to happen thanks for any help

    SOLVED!!!!!!! incase anyone else has same problem do this
    1] Download a copy of MSCOMCTL.OCX from the following link...
    http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/mscomctl.zip

    2] Stick your new 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' file into C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\

    3] Click START->RUN and type "REGSVR32 MSCOMCTL.OCX" without the quotes

    4] Click OK and wait for the Successful confirmation.
