I just got my copy of Windows 7 Ultimate in the mail today and was fixing to install it. Before I do though I would like to know if anybody knows if Xbox Backup Creator 2.7.0 works with Windows 7? I have been searching for 3 hours trying to find an answer but no luck.

    I believe it will.

But why would you use the old version of XBC?

it will work, but you have to download a different file or some sort i believe. run a search on here and im sure it will turn up. or just scan through the first 5 pages or so, because i recall seeing it a week or so ago.

Download the MSCOMCTL.OCX file from HERE and put it in your C:\WINDOWS\System32 folder. Should work after you do that.

If your running 64 bit try putting it in your SysWOW64 folder.

    Majinbuu, try this:

Safe Way of Disabling Driver Signature Enforcement
    1) On Windows 7 bootup press F8 to get to the extended boot options screen
    2) Choose "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"
    3) To start DosFlash right click on it in Windows Explorer and choose
"Run as administrator" ] answer the message box with "Yes"
    4) Short after the program started a "Program Compatibility Assistant" warning message
is displayed, you can simply ignore this by pressing the "Close" button

Once you reboot back into Windows, try running XBOX Backup Creator as admin.
