Please help. The support line blamed my TVs.

Whenever I play any game on my first generation Xbox, the colors are really bright. The contrast is off and you can't read or see most things. It has not always been this way. I tried hooking up the system to my other tv - neither is HDTV - and have the same problem. My TV has no color problems outside of playing Xbox games.. please help

have you tried another video cable just to make sure
that it is not the cause? I know my original cord is old and
when it is not in the correct position it will cut out on me or
go to a screen that you can barely see anything which has a pinkish
color to it. Then i move it around and the picture clears up.
Luckily i rarely use that cable as i now use component cables.

I'll borrow your topic for a moment, hope that's OK.

I have an Xbox and I backed up Kung Fu Chaos to hard drive and for some reason I'm getting a distorted picture when I'm trying to play it. At first the menus are OK, but when the game should really start I get the picture on my TV as double or something.

    Check it out: http://rommakolo.no-ip.com/xbox/vikaa_kuvassa.jpg

Other games work without any problems. The region probably isn't the problem here, NTSC and PAL games are working all right. The region of Kung Fu Chaos seems to be "Mix", what ever that means. I'm using a RGB-cable.

Any idea what could cause this?
