Xbox DVD Drives

    Does anyone know which type of media will play in each drive? I.E.- will either of the Phillips, Samsung or Thomson drives play DVD+R burned games?

    From what I've read Thompson and Philips yes.
    Samsung no.
    I've never tried a +r/rw.

    From my experience, Memorex cds or DVDs, both R and RW, all 4x speed, work on Xbox just fine. And I have the Samsung DVD drive that originally came w/ the Xbox.

    Thanks guys, I had some Memorex 4x +R's and I burned one of my games and it worked just fine with my Phillips drive...
