    Hi there
    I just flashed an Xbox which originally had a Benq drive with faulty lazer in;
    I extracted the key from the Benq and injected it into a Sammy drive.
    I did not spoof the drive.
    I connected the drive up and successfully played original LA Noire game; I then connected the box to the internet and tried to update; I received an E66 error as expected.
    I swapped my drives and re-installed the original DVD Drive; I succesfully updated the console to the latest dashboard and re-installed the sammy drive.
    The console successfully connected to live, and was not flagged or banned.
    It played halo 3, crackdown and LA Noire online; however when I inserted Black Ops 2 original disc, the console gave me an E66 error almost straight away.
    I appreciate that this is probably because spoofing is no longer supported for the newest update and AP25 games.
    My question is, is there any hope to make this drive play original Black Ops 2?
    Will it work if i re-flash my drive?
    or will i need to make sure i use a Benq drive with LT3?
    I have a lite on drive that has a fried pcb board.
    If i have to, will i be able to use the lite on laser to fix the original Benq?
    and i had flashed the original Benq drive when reading the key from it.
    I powered the drive with the console.
    Will this still be able to play black ops 2 if i install a new laser?

    Thanks,

    Basically you have answered most of it yourself in one sentence about spoofing the keys.I had the same problem injecting keys from a sammy and replacing it with a hit 59 due to a faulty laser on the sammy. It wouldnt update and had the E66 error as its looking for your original drive and not just the spoofed key. However because the lasers are the same i just took out the laser from the hitachi and placed it in the samsung so i had the original drive with updated firmware and no E66 error.Black ops 2 and xgd3 backups play fine.I do believe that a liteon and benq lasers are very similar and looking at various other forums they have been removed from a liteon and placed in a benq without any issues(although some report a pot tweak may be needed)I would look at the code 141x on the laser hop as it should be universal with the benq drive.Hope this helps..

    You should be fine, try putting the console no into xval to see if it is flagged.I doubt now even if it was flagged that you would be due a ban as the console can flag with just a disc unreadable error. Also the 360 is coming to its shelve life.I would just do as i said and you will be fine.
