I really need help, I have read all the stuff on here and there seems to be no apparent reason why my computer won't pick up that the xbox is hooked up, On the back of my xbox when I hook it up for Live the light in the back goes green but when I use a crossover cable the light doesn't go on. Nor does it on my Pc really starting to Frustrate me. My settings on my xbox are as followed Type: (blank) IP: 0.0.0.0 Line Status: 10/Half Duplex Ethernet MAC address 00:50:F2:00:00:0A Setup Network: Yes Use Static IP: Yes IP: 0.0.0.0 Subnetmast: 255:255:255:0 DefultGateway: 192.168.1.1 Dns: (blank) Dns: (blank) then on FTP (on xbox) it says Enable:Yes Password: xbox
you don't have an IP. run an ethernet cord to your router then look at the ip on your xbox. type that in to your FTP program and hit connect or whatever.Or you can type in ftp://xbox:xbox@(xbox's ip here)
