Xbox hard drive.. any good?

    well i wanna upgrade my xbox from the crap hard drive i have now to an 80gb

    i found this: is this any good?

    You would need to check if the maxtor is a later model that's made by seagate if it's not & it's an original from maxtor steer clear of it as they have a high failure rate,the top 3 in order are as follows
    1-Hitachi
    2-Seagate
    3-Western Digital

    I suggest you shop around as a new seagate 320GB HDD 16MB cache 5 year warranty OEM here in NZ would equate to around 35 pound in UK,rule of thumb is the larger the drive the cheaper per GB it is

    I don't know too much about the Hitachi drives. The Seagates come with a 5 Year warranty, always nice!

    A good price is only what you are willing to pay!
