Xbox Hardrive

    How do i install a new hardrive in my xbox and use and make it work plz help me i am total lost i know you can do it but i am not sure i bought a maxtor 40gb hardrive 7200rpm and i want to install in my xbox can anyone help me plz thanks

    do a google search for xbox-scene and go to the tutorials section. this website is the sh*t.

    i can give you a quick version.

    the best thing you can get is go to xbins and get evolution x hd prepare. this version partions your new hd and makes things easy.

    just take apart the xbox remove the hd and plug in your new one. thats pretty much it.

    You DO need a very GOOD luck doing such thing without a modchip or other modification to your xbox. AGAIN, GOOD LUCK...

    I wouldn't see any point in upgrading the hard drive if the xbox was not modded, plus if it wasnt modded then the suggested program will be useless to him.
