Ok for the record I have the game i purchased it and no copying is being used here. I have halo 2 and xbox live. my box is modded with xenium ice chip and on the os i added a new TSOP and set RetailKernal to default so I could play live with the chip disabled. now my box boots up the normal xbox dashboard. i played fine for the last few hours online and think im fine because my chip is off. is it true they can at anytime check my system for my upgraded hard drive and ban me from live or am i fine and would they have done it when i was forced to download there update? also is there any other things i can do to make sure i do not get banned? thank you
Your best bet would be to plug your original HD when you want to play on Live to be on the safe side because it is true that they can verify anything they want, they own the code of the machine so they can do what they want.
