With xbox live i got the free 2 month subscription and i got on and everything and i got to the stage where they asked for my credit card number. But it sed it is FREE. y do they need a credit card number. if anyone know a way to subscribe without a credit card number plz tell me, Echo-4-19
you can use a debit card or direct debit account with xbox live im sure but i think you still need a credit card to verify your age or something like that check xbox live site and payment methods
they also want to be able to charge your credit card/debit after your two free months are up. it is easier for them to charge you monthly instead of waiting for you to send a payment. if you don't like this then just give it to them and make sure you cancel after the two months and then go to the store and buy the subscription for six months.
they also ack for it becaues you can download levels, cars, ect. that cost money. So when you download them it will charge your card.
Remember, you're on a TRIAL. Of course it's going to ask you for credit card in case you might go over the two month limit.
