Xbox not playing dvd -r

    I just bought a new computer with a dvd burner... I've been using dvd shrink... i've ripped dvds 2 different ways... using an ISO image and Video ts files... the burning program im using is Nero express... I'm using Verbatim dvd rs... i burned a copy on these dvds on my friend's computer and it worked in the xbox..... but everyone one i make doesn't work on my xbox.. it says it can't recognize it..the ones i've made tho work on the stand alone player... and i;ve tried them in other xbox's and they dun work... it may be the program im using... but i'm not sure ... anyone know what the problem is.. please help me.. i'm desperate

    What make/model burner are you using? What is your friend using?

    i have an 8x Sony multiformat DVD+/- RW drive .... my roomate has an HP dvd writer dvd 200i...

    My first suggestion would be to update the firmware for your drive if you haven't done so already :)
