Xbox turns on green light and all but nothink appears on the tv screen??

    Xbox turns on green light and all but nothink appears on the tv screen?? How do i fix it

    More details please.

    Is your console modded (soft/chipped)

    If you have just done a soft mod , it could be the video settings incorrect. it might be set as NTSC instead of PAL...

    it boots up and makes a whirling noise thatd be the fan or the hard drive no i dont think it is i havent opend it yet as so

    Hi There all - im a newbee !!!!

    im having the same problem as above, does anyone know how to switch the settings back to PAL ??

    I have a modded box...

    What Dashboard do you have if you have evolution x just go into settings and change it their.

    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for the replies...

    I am using evo-x and when i boot up the machine i can hear the audio but as i said no pic...

    I have tried it on other televisions in the house to see if they support any other settings but no good..

    I have now got something to go on unless my 6 year old decides to break my fingers for messing with his xbox...lol

    Yep, if you have sound, that will be the problem, almost everytime! Refer to my tutorials for anymore basic help in the future!
