xbox wireless adapter for pc

    hi ive just bought xbox 360 wireless adapter for pc http://www.amazon.co.uk/Xbox-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows/dp/B000MGVAAQ when installing drivers from the disc that came with it i get compatibility problem check for solution which takes me to website for win 7 64 bit drivers download them install but i still get an exclamation mark on the item in device manager still get unknown device any help installing this to win 7 64 bit thanks

    Hello.
    I have the same problem. what drivers to download that would remove the exclamation mark in Device Manager?

    i think the drivers are in win7 and maybe vista as well. go to device manager, find the 'unknown device' that is wireless adapter. browse your computer for driver software, and then 'let me pick...'
    Choose Microsoft Common Controller for windows Class. and then pick the 'XBOX 360 wireless receiver for windows'
    Do not worry about possible incompatibility, let it install.
