I'm the proud owner of a xecuter2 pro 2.2 chip with a pogopin. and for a will it worked great untill a moved my xbox. Now I'm getting error 16.
I flashed my xecuter2 pro 2.2 again with evox blue, red and Xecuter2.Build.4977. All went good. When i check with my flash program I can see what bios is on my chip. but I'm still can't get my xbox to work. When i try the slayer evox installer and another evox bootdisk but it won't boot correctly I can hear the cdrw spin in the drive but error 16 again. I tried the same cd-rw on another xbox and there it boots as it should do.
My question is: What should i do. Do I need to put in a new harddrive or is their something else wrong with my xbox. And if I need to put in a new harddrive, do I need a brandnew one or can i use a old one from my computer?
Hope you'll understand my problem (English isn't my strongest subject)

Info: This error says that the machine was booted to display a error, basically someone told the machine to reboot (or launch a xbe) with this flag, and the error code just means its been rebooted by the flag

Did you ever install Evox on your hard drive when it was working?

I am just wondering if you have installed Evox on the hard drive and renamed/deleted some of the original dashboard files. When you moved the XBOX you misalligned the chip and so the XBOX is booting up unchipped and it can't find the original files it needs?

    Just an idea.

Well i don't know alot on error 12 but on the list i gave u it says dvd soemthing. So i'm guessing it's your dvd drive. Only way to really find out if you got a freind with a xbox ask him to barrow it. Swap the dvd drives. SO put his in your and boot. Thats how you'll see if it's your dvd drive.

It doesn't really matter anymore i guess, cause I am just going to throw out my broken xbox. It's not worth fixing...I could of have got an extended warranty but I trusted Microsoft. Guess not.
