Xboxhdm Not Recognizing Drive. Followed All Instructions.

So I got my linux disk burnt and did the boot from disk thing and hooked my hard drive up as primary master. Now it goes to the first screen and I press 1 and enter. Then it asks me for password. After I put it in and press enter it tells me the drive is not detected. Why is this? I'm using a Western Digital 250 GB drive (Model WD2500JBRTL). Thanks.

 

Is the drive detecting in your pc bios.. set the hard drive detection to auto and reboot.

 

I have used xboxhdm loads and have only had it not detect a drive if the jumpers were set wrong or like janrocks said.
