i have a v1.6 with a X3,evox 120gb all the works... i was going to buy my friends older v1.3xbox and do a plexi-glass case mod for it with all the works i flashed my X3 thru HTTP i wanted to put a X2.6 in the v1.3 i dont know how to flash and i want to know before i do buy one do you need a programmer or somethinglike that?
and all i want is to run evox so i dont want or need the X3 features because my box has them i was planning on selling my 1.3 when im done but than i thought about chipping it LOOK ABOVE last post help me with flashing Q's Thanks
You can flash the xecuter 2.6, 2.6ce, 2.6ce lite, 2.6 ce lite with solderless (all of them)... using 4 methods. You could flash the chip using a cd, over the network (if you have it networked), by using a programmer, or by doing soft mod exploits such as mech warrior and 007.
i have the 2.6 and used bios manager to build an appropriate bios... used nero to burn it to cd-rw and flashed via dvd rom.... workx lovely
