Ok heres the deal, I want to put Xenosaga on my HDD and play it. But from what i've gathered, to do it i'll need a previous Xenosaga save on my memory card to do this, as it will freeze(?) at the begining from the HDD. Normally this wouldnt be a problem for most, as they could just put the game in to begin with, play it normally and make a save, then play from the HDD. My dillema is that the DVD part of my PS2 laser is shot. I can run cd based games from it, but not dvd based games. This being the case i install all my games via WinHIIP. What i want to know is if there's any way to get around this problem, mabey something like a Xenosaga save on a cd, that can be put on my memory card, like the exploit? Any help (even if its just to tell me i'm screwed) would be happily recieved. Thank you.

Ahh, im not comlianing about that part. It's an old ass machine, and it was heavily used before that part of the laser went out. I just need to quit being a cheap ass and buy a new one (not slim). lol.
