Hey I Just Got A New P4 2.4 With 768mb Of Ram And An ATI Radeon 7000 64mb Video Card. When I Try To Install Windows XP It Takes Forever. Takes 10 Minutes For The 1 Minute To Go By In The Timer. By The Time It's Done It Takes A Bit To Boot And Then Is Slow As Hell When It's Done. XP Install And XP Itself Ran Fine On My Intel Celeron 852. Please Help :(

Check the FSB (Front Side Bus) setting in the Bios to make sure it is the correct speed. Also check that the clock multiplier is set correct. The clock multiplier x FSB should equal your processor speed.
