Hi, Im trying to encode an Xvid movie to mpeg2 so that i can burn it to DVD. I have used TMPGEnc Plus before and has worked fine. The problem i have is that when i start to encode it the picture goes all green and picture is blurred to a point where u cant see any movie. The movie played on Win Media Player is perfect so im stumped at why it encodes like this. I have tried different Xvid codecs and they are all the same. Ant help would be appreciated.

How long is this 'green' phase... 3 seconds or like the entire movie. In a lot of cases, you will encounter a brief distortion at the begining of a movie.

Why would you be trying to encode an xvid to dvd. Wouldn't it be a better idea to hire the movie out and then copy it (better quality) lol.
