    Hei i used to install this chip in the past.The picture shows to solder the b1 wire at both transistors.Although i don't think it is too nesesary.You see this is some kind of trik from romeo fixes like the la syndrom fix.It limits the signal of scex and your playstation is protected better.

    You dont need to solder to both of them but it wont matter if you do.

    Thanks guys 4 your help. I finally did it!!! I've managed to modchip my first PS2. Not bad for a rookie !!!
    I don't understand why professionials charge so much money for something so relatively simple.
