I  downloaded   dvd  flick  to  try an  get  the  vid  onto  a  dvd <br />

It  went  thru the  process    then  an  img burn  window   came  up  but  then  <br />
nothing  seemed  to  happen.<br />

I ve  downloaded  a  few  dvd  burning  programmes     and  tried  them  all  but  nothing  seems  to  work<br />

I have approximately 200 vhs tapes that I have been meaning to move to digital format for years.  Now that I have the time to do it, although I am rather late to the party I am looking for any current suggestions on a video scaler or stabilizer or other unit that will do the job.  Most of the vhs tapes have the old Macrovision copy protection, so I am not certain whether a simple, affordable solution still exists out there. I first ran dvd shrink v3.2, I edited a one hour movie I had on a dvd that works fine but I wanted to remove some of the beginning and end of the movie.<br />

In Shrink I made an .iso file. I loaded it into Imgburn and burned a resultant dvd.<br />
<br />
I played the dvd on my TV set-top DVD player and it worked fine.<br />

BUT when I went to watch it on my Win7(64) computer my VLC Media player said it could not open the disc. I tried it on other programs I...<br />
