I made a vid using photostage 27 mins long 300 meg

it came out in the Avi format .

I downloaded dvd flick to try an get the vid onto a dvd

It went thru the process then an img burn window came up but then
nothing seemed to happen.

I ve downloaded a few dvd burning programmes and tried them all but nothing seems to work

Im using a laptop and windows 7

I converted an AVI video to DVD and it plays on a PC but not on a DVD player. I have created DVDs from other AVI videos without this problem. Any suggestions?

i got a movie in a format i haven't seen and wish to put on dvd. its a bonus disc from a set.
when i open the folder theres 3 folders inside
1=archives ep 1 2 3 ( episodes 1 2 3 )
2= archives ep 4 5 6 (episodes 4 5 6 )
3= spoofs-documentries

now in archives 123 is 2 folders named BDMV and CERTIFICATE
in BDMV is
auxdata
back up
bdjo
clipinf
jar
meta
playlist
stream
all are folders
then 2 video clips

in certificate is

BACKUP folder
anydvd.xig
anydvd.xrl
anydvd.xrt

Hello everyone,

I hope you can help me with the following issue.

I am authoring a DVD with DVD LabPro2. There are 10 short videos which has to be locked using a keypad menu. When I play the DVD in a DVD player, this works exactly I want it to work.

Now, the issue is when I play the DVD in a computer using Windows Media Player. For some reason, I am able to open the titles list and play them straight forward. I need to prevent Media Player from playing the titles.

I have tried googling with reference to authoring but not much surfaced.

What I would like to know is how to make/author a dvd that is searchable forward and reverse: not chapter skipping but a scan through the video like a commercial disk.

How is this done and is it possible with the authoring software currently available for Linux.

i had some old mini DV tapes i want to transfer to DVD. my laptop does not have firewire to connect to my old camcorder, which does. after alot of searching i could not find any adapter to connect my camcorder to my laptop, bought a few and all failed. i paid to have the mini DVD tape transferred to DVD in the end. i ripped, edited and burned to DVD, but the end result was very poor, much worse that the original DV tape. below is the process i used:-

So I've been roaming the internet trying to figuere this out and every avenue I've tried hasn't worked. Here's my dillemia.

I've downloaded a number of videos from YouTube and want to make them into movies that can be watched on a DVD player. Hello all, I am sorry for posting this, I have searched but havent got the answer that I am looking for.
I have several HD videos in different formats (mp4, wmv, etc) the videos are 720 and 1080. I am looking to convert these to VOB files to burn with DVDShrink, I have been using DVDVideoSoft but it seems the max it converts it to is 480 quality.
Is there a free program that might convert the 720 & 1080 video files (mp4 & wmv) to VOB files at their original 720 & 1080?...

I have approximately 200 vhs tapes that I have been meaning to move to digital format for years. Now that I have the time to do it, although I am rather late to the party I am looking for any current suggestions on a video scaler or stabilizer or other unit that will do the job. Most of the vhs tapes have the old Macrovision copy protection, so I am not certain whether a simple, affordable solution still exists out there. problem converting to DVD getting an error 32k

when i try and convert mp4 or avi to dvd using dvd flick the conversion seems to go okay but when i add it to ashampoo or imgburn it says an error about 32k and something with BUP and IFO. i was getting it before a new windows install and after. and also i reinstalled all the programs involved. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all:

I installed the latest Imgburn.

I first ran dvd shrink v3.2, I edited a one hour movie I had on a dvd that works fine but I wanted to remove some of the beginning and end of the movie.

In Shrink I made an .iso file. I loaded it into Imgburn and burned a resultant dvd.

I played the dvd on my TV set-top DVD player and it worked fine.

BUT when I went to watch it on my Win7(64) computer my VLC Media player said it could not open the disc. I tried it on other programs I...

Ok...I made 2 dvds so far with dvd styler...one dvd I made 3 separate menus with many videos, worked fine...But the third disc I prepared alot more menus, 1 menu has about 12 videos...while 2 others have about 4-5 videos...the dvd styler said something wrong with byte rate before it even begin encoding...all the videos are mp4 and are less 2-4 minutes in length a piece...(I was hoping to fix this with mp3 (with sources call "mp3 file managing")..

i'm trying to convert a avi file to dvd (vob)file and the video comes out good but the audio seems to be about 3 to 4 seconds behind where it should be. does anyone have any ideas? everything on the avi file is perfect, only when you try to make it the vob does it go bad. i have tried both dvdfab and nero with the same results.

When I open my Nero Express after adding all vob files and start to burn them into DVD, error message appears with "DVD-Video files reallocation failed. The resulting DVD-Video
might be unplayable. Do you want to continue". Then I quit the program and start again but with same result.
