keep wii24 turned off, any updates keep eye on hombrew sites. games updates in my exp has been purely for the game.

u need install b/up launcher via t/light hack, then it appears as a channel rather then loading via sd card all the time.
game updates differ from wii console updates. i play my originals online updates fine.
nothing wrong with having a b/up dvd player, u need to install t/light hack, then dvdx, then load up mplayer off sd card.
i got my wii over xmas, done all hacks etc, using wii gator0.3 to lunch games. works a treat and also i use cheap brand - disk which work fine....
use s/mod, works a treat!!! all games i d/loaded have worked fine. Mario kart, fifa09,Mario party8, 30 grt party games.
what version wii u have, ntsc/pal?? also if using + disks conv to rom type, burn @3 speed
