I guess your vob file still contains the .dts audio track, so your friend's PS3 isn't able to decode it into a stereo output through the composite...

Exactly, for what I know the only way to use a file bigger than 4 gb is to stream it from a pc with a NTFS hard disk or to split it.

Does anyone you have a working .vob file with h264+AC3+SRT? I still can't see some anime files. I demuxed it with tsmuxer to change the video...

Is there any way to stream a h264+AC3 file to the PS3 with subtitle (I use tversity)? I know that tsmuxer use them only if you use the AVCHD...
