    LG GSA-4040B media compatibility - post here -

    TDK 2x 4.7GB DVD-R actually show and burn at 4x in Nero 6 with LG GSA-4040B and A301 firmware. Don't ask me why they would understate the speed...

    LG GSA-4040B 4x DVD-R - * SOLUTION * Upgraded firmware to A301, using FujiFilm DVD-R 4x. Worked for me. No BS.
