    Hey droptop, I think if you follow the same instructions I have posted for v262 it should work. Possibly your computer doesn't have a 2.0 USB...

    I just used a cable I picked up at the mall, basically a no name brand, as long as it fits into the phone properly it should work.

    Hey, I have a v262 also, couldn't get MPT to work but I was able to move ringtones and pictures using Motorola's PST Phone Programmer tool (PST)...

    MPT works Data transfer doesn't???

    Just a blank window, I tried installing PST 7.1.1 and using P2k Commander which let me load pictures but I tried deleting some of the ringtones...
