i tried backup creator and schtrom...both with same results...backed 2 games no problem and they play with hdd....downloaded 1 game and its plays...

thanks mike , i tried another brand new hard drive and the same thing....i will try a memory card ...just have to buy one...any other ideas are...

this has happened on a couple of games....when the harddrive is connected....the game is choppy when it loads then gets the "cant read/clean disc"...

ok all done and flashed ....now to test it.....bit of a learning curve but all is good....forgot to remove the drivers for the raid controller...
