    I suppose I could buy a new laser assembly but I don't want to waste more money and find out thats not the issue.

    I tried a audio CD co go. Its not that its getting a disk read error its just not doing anything at all. I don't see hot this happened all I did...

    Tried it did'nt help. The PS2 loads fine though laser dosent move at all and the drive makes no noise whatsoever
