Yes ... for wave 4 games you need the activate.iso disc for 1.6 on lite-on, beng, and samsung, Hitachi 1.51 will run the game without...
Here's proof: - I have played a wave 4 game before the ban hammer - I have used the activate disc to play that wave 4 game I am not banned...
Well, going online is a fool's errand, but this version is probably as safe as you can get .... safer than the last one at least : D ... no CRC...

IMO, just use the SLAX disc to set the drive to mode B ... JF has never worked for me as of yet
