HIS HD 4890 turbo+ graphics problem

    Hey im having some graphics problem / glitches on my new HIS hd 4890 turbo +
    My specs are :
    Q6600 2.4ghz
    4 gig ddr2 800mhz
    striker 2 formula mobo
    asus arctic square cpu cooler
    HIS HD 4890 Turbo+ GFXs card
    250gb seagate HDD
    750 watt thermaltake psu

    is the card still under warranty as appears to be bad video ram or bad gpu? can try updating video driver but doubt that will correct problem.

    Try using a linux livecd to see if you have the same problem. If you have similar problems then the card might be bad, if it looks fine under linux than you might have a driver problem.

    do they show up in the post screen before windows loads?

    no it takes about 15mins for it to show up in the os but i just updated the driver from 9.11 to 9.12 so lets see what happens

    you have a heat related problem with the card with either the ram or gpu but likely ram because of the 15 minutes. if card has a fan, is it spinning?
