I bought it as a christmas present for my parents (It's the model with built in wi-fi) and they wanted to try out netflix streaming but it has been nothing but a pain. At first it could not connect (I assumed it was because the blu-ray player was inside of their entertainment center) and so I moved it out and closer to the router. It now receives a full signal and it successfully connects, but when I try to access netflix it will load for a minute and then it will disconnect from the network.

    I have no problem streaming.

Do you have a vonage connected? It creates problem in streaming when the phone is in use.

I have 2 of these players. One in my bedroom and one in my living room. The one in the bedroom is fairly close to my wireless router and streams Netflix without issue. The one out in my living room, connected once (barely) and hasn't been able to connect since (probably due to the distance from my router).
