i just put together a new computer. i bought the Radeon HD 4890 as the video card and the LG 32" LF11 TV for the monitor. it does full 1080p. but when i set it for 1920 x 1080 it doesnt go to full screen. i am using a hdmi cable. it puts a inch border around, the only way i can get it to go all the way to the edge is the 1600 x 1200. i update the software and driver but still cant get it. can anyone help??

Have you tried playing with the on-screen menu? There is usualy a 'zoom' option, or there might even be an aspect ratio adjustment.

In ATI CCC go under your TV (HDMI) and you should see a HDTV support option, Check add 1080p24 and select it below and click apply format. This worked for me awhile back.
