    I have recently tried to ghost my HD image with nero's backitup and all went fine but as soon as I tried to test the ghosted image I get this "Address line A20 is already enabled"

    I have never had issues before with my other computers while using Nero's backitup ghosting software. Maybe it has something with the image loaded in wromg place for the DR-DOS, I don't know. but I can't seem to find this A20 function anywhere in the bios. But as I said before, during bootup process with nero's ghosted dvd that I made, EMM386 complains, that "Address line A20 is already enabled" and the system just freezes, then I have to reset. this only happens when I have tried to test the ghosted dvd.

    This a quick rundown of what I have;

    MB K8N NEO2 PLATINUM MSI
    GA XFX|GF 6800GT 256MB PVT40AUDF3
    >POWER SUPPLY ANTEC TP2-550 EPS12V
    CPU AMD 64 |3800+ ATHLON 64 939P RT
    MUSHKIN DUAL V2 1G(512X2) DDR400 R
    HD250G|ST 7200 8M SATA ST3250823AS%
    WD 80G 7200 XP Loaded on this drive
    DVR|PIONEER DVR-109BK DVD+/-RW%

    Any help would be greatfully appreciated. THANX!

    this is what I found out so far

    Fast Gate A20 Option: A20 refers to the high memory area (First 64KB of extended memory). This option uses the fast gate A20 line (if supported) to access memory above 1 MB. This is faster than the normal method. Set it to enabled for better performance.

    HOw would I disable it?

    I know it's in my bios but nothing in there say's A20.

    I think I might have figured it out but I might be wrong.

    I just found out that my 80gb that has the operating system on it is a slave and is the primary slave and not master....what do you think, could that be the conflict?
