Anyone know a xvid player that will play these ? I think they are xvid files just a differant codec .. would a firmware upgrade possibely enable my player to play these ? Kosch DV-X721 is what im using .
Try downloading the Comdined-Community-Codec-Pack from the following URL: http://cccp.anime-supreme.com/Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2005-11-17.exe It contains an application entitled 'Zoomplayer' which reads Matroska files, you may have to follow the applications prompts in order to get a couple more drivers for the sound to work perfectly, other than that it's a reasonably o.k application.
