can anyone tell me how to convert from aiff to wav?? I can't play these on my windows xp computer and the aiff files I have downloaded are lossless..I also can't burn these or pretty much do anything..was trying to decode them to wav so I can pretty either encode to flac or ape or shn.. any assistance would be appreciated..
lossless and lossy are terms to define compressed audio files, such as mp3, wma, flac, mp4. aiff along with wave are uncompressed files. dBPowerAMP is a great free audio converter utility. You can find the link to the website in my sig below. Be sure to go to the codec central page on the website and download and install the aiff plugin.
