Hard drive erased?

    hey all

    someone i know left her laptop in her car for about half an hour and its about 100 degrees outside. Now when she turns it on it says operating system not found. Could this have been caused by the heat?

    see if hd is seen by the bios.

    Actyually the hard drive isnt seen by bios is trhis simply a cable problem? thats what it seems to be what i dont know what coyuld have unseated it.

    unlikely but possible. try reseating the hd to see if seen by bios.

    uhhhh.... i dont know how to work with laptops >_< have never opened one and i think she just gonna send it back cos its still under warranty >_< lol thx for the advice though.

    being still under warranty is a good reason to send it back to be fixed or repaired
