basically on my receipt it says corsair 667mhz ddr2 5400 ram, but my ASUS P5LD2 SE shows it as 5300... why? is there a limit on the mobo? I understood previously that the mobo can limit a 800mhz ram to 667mhz ram, for example, but not these numbers (5400,5300). btw, what ARE these numbers? thanks
well if ure motherboard cant handle a pc5400 it runs it at pc5300 speeds ex if u buy a ram that runs at 800mhz but ure mobo can only handle 667mhz the ram will work but at 667mhz do u get it? anyways a pc5300 runs at 667mhz and a pc5400 runs at 667mhz also so I dnt get y u should worry about it
